Sincerity.

"Sincerity"
8x10
Ink and water soluble crayons

It has been a while since my last post. I'm still exploring this style and to tell you the truth I am enjoying it. I am also playing a lot with watercolors but honestly I am not brave enough to show you the results just yet. Meanwhile, I have found the time to work on the "100 works of art challenge". If you want to learn more about this project you can click here: 100artworkschallenge. I'm really just starting along with short terms goals that keeps me inspired and with my hands busy.

Exploring new styles.

"Intuition"
 8x10
 Ink and water soluble colors.

I have been confined to my own "style", if you can call it that, for a long long time even thought I'm not even sure that I may have particular style.
The truth is that now I'm willing to open up to different ways of creating my pieces. And this is the result of one of these experimentations. This process comes naturally, and I think is part of the evolution of any creative journey. I don't know how long this stage will last but  for now I'm learning something new about myself and my work.
This kind of task needs a lot more attention and patience but I see it as a opportunity to explore and have fun.  I decided to call this piece "Intuition" because for the first time I'm letting her guide me. I hope you like her!

Watercolor love

A like watercolor a lot, but is a technique that I am far to master.
So, I'm keeping the advice of a friend "Is not the goal my friend is the road".
Here I am, enjoying the joy of this road.

RENEWED & RELOCATED

Watercolors, pencil and micron pen on watercolor paper
35cm x 25cm.

It took us seven years to be here in Calgary. So now,  the possibilities seems endless for us. It also took me more than three months to reface this blog, and give it a look that is more cohesive with all the things that I have been learning these past months.  In this case it wasn't easy, for me it is too hard to be objective but, I tried to do the best that I can until now. I read somewhere that if you expect your blog to be perfect and totally ready to start posting, you will never do it. That sounded as a real wake up call for me, even though I still have to add many details to the blog.

I will start to post my art and my journey in my new town from now on !!!!!!
I hope you will join me on this exiting new project.

Love
