I've had a book about collage on my shelves for more of one year, forgotten and abandoned, so I decided that this is the time to start to explore and find new ideas and techniques. The name of the book is The Collage Lab by Bee Shay. It is an interesting book filled with a ton exercises that helps you to know more about many kinds of art medium and techniques. I love it!
It is also very helpful because you have the opportunity to learn step by step, experiment and play.
I'm so excited about the idea of use Gesso in my work. I have been using for some time before but until now I have never understand completely all the possibilities that this medium offers.
Now that I have enough time to paint, I spent most of my time learning something or reading. I'm doing a couple of online courses and also reading a couple of new books. Meanwhile I asking to myself if I'm avoiding something? or just It is a time to learn and think? I don't know I'm enjoying.

El nombre del libro es The Collage Lab y es escrito por Bee Shay. Es un libro muy interesante lleno de muchos ejercicios que te ayudan a conocer mas acerca muchos tipos de medios y técnicas. Me encanta!
También es bien práctico, por que uno tiene la oportunidad de aprender paso a paso a su propio ritmo y experimentar y jugar. Estoy emocionada de usar Gesso en mi trabajo, lo he estado usando por algun tiempo pero hasta ahora no habia entendido todas las posibilidades que este ofrece.
Ahora que tengo mas tiempo para pintar paso la mayoria de mi tiempo aprendiendo algo o leyendo. Estoy haciendo una par de cursos online y leyendo un par de nuevos libros también. Mientras tanto, me pregunto, Será que estoy evadiendo algo? o simplemente es tiempo de aprender y pensar?
No lo sé, lo estoy disfrutando.
